The Friends of East Dorset Citizens Advice Bureaux (EDCAB)

... work to support CAB in the area by raising its profile and by supplementing its regular source of income.

EDCAB is a registered charity and is self-supporting. The demands on it are such that it needs to add to its core funding from East Dorset District Council and other local authorities.

The Friends do this through:

• fund-raising activities ranging from open gardens and coffee mornings to energetic jive nights and sponsored half marathons
• subscriptions (Minimum £10)
• donations
• legacies

These funds enable EDCAB to continue to help people resolve their problems by providing free information and advice in East Dorset.

You can make a difference by:

• Subscribing - click here to download a subscription form that you can print and return.
• Persuading your friends and family to get involved.
• Helping to arrange a fund-raising event, large or small.
• Supporting events in aid of the Bureaux.
• Donating - any amount appreciated.
